All those trapped within the prison that is sanity can never truly learn the lessons of the universe. Only those that are free from such constraints can truly be rational and just, unlike that of you NORMAL folk.

Whelp, after another entire semester (first half of senior year), I've decided to post again on things that are currently on my mind
1) It sure is nice to be done with the semester. Having free time to play videogames again is just what I needed.
2) Finally got Mordecai to level 50 in Borderlands. Now the only character left is Siryn, so I'll probably be doing that whenever nobody else is actually playing Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead 2. There's still several things that could be made better in Borderlands though, especially when it comes to weapon descriptions. They need to make it dynamically sized so it fits in the descriptor window, since when all is said and done, the only thing you do in that game is try and find sweet weaponry. Can't do that properly if you can't see all the weapons specifications though. Not to mention how much cars suck on the second playthrough, and how the game has a tendency to mob you with BadMutha elemental monsters all at once sometimes.
3) Left 4 Dead 2, although fun, seems to have lost its luster quite quickly amongst my friends. I don't know why, but it seems like after a week, they just don't ever play it anymore. Thank god I didn't pay the full $50, though it still doesn't seem to be worth it in the end (unless we all suddenly start playing again).
4) Team Fortress 2 got the War! update (aka the Soldier/Demo update) a day or so ago, and once again, things have gotten somewhat weird. The milestones are a bit glitchy in that they didn't give me any of the new items when I got them (though I saw that it worked for other people). Might have to drop Valve a line and ask them what the deal is. Also, they implemented a crafting system (for veterans of RPG's, think alchemy like in Atelier Iris or Dragon Quest), so people can take the shitty random copies they get and try to make hats out of them. There's still no trading system, but hey, you can effectively combine 81 junk items to make a single randomly generated hat! Although, since they established a "blueprint system," there are limitations to what you can convert and when. For example, if you have 2 extra secondary weapons and 1 extra primary, you can't create any metal. Having an extra primary, secondary, and melee will. Having 3 of the same item will also let you make metal, though for now that doesn't apply to the Dead Ringer. Personally, I think they should make it a bit more lenient than this, since I don't understand why exactly they have to be so cheap about getting hats...
5) I really need to get back to playing my Playstation, especially Persona 3: FES (a game from the Shin Megami Tensei series, which is rather well known in Japan at least). Not to mention that I'm near the end on SEVERAL games and have simply not played them in a while, including Dark Sector, Genji: Days of the Blade, Xenosaga Episode II, God Hand, etc.
Also, I'm going to be going on a 10-day trip to Israel in about a week with the whole Birthright deal (look it up online or ask a jew that knows).
Now then, since I've finished shoveling the snow out of my driveway, I can eat, shower, and go hang out with friends/play videogames.
